Hi !

We just did a little article about the movie "Amélie Poulain" !

Here is the poster...

 The film begins with an accumulation of unuseful things, things we absolute don't care about... The narrator explains all those things, to make us laugh, and to put us in a kind of confusion, and it works !

Afterwards, we see her childhood and the real story begins... Amelie is now a young single woman, she loves helping unknown people, anyone she can help... And she finally falls in love, but she's too too shy. But that film isn't only a romance, the plot is very difficult to explain, because all the movie is about her personnality...

That's a very poetic movie, the soundtrack is very very very important because there are lots of scenes without speech, and only the music let us fell about emotions (laugh, love, compassion...) That's a tricky movie !

The musics were made by Yann Tiersen. "La valse d'amélie Poulain" (Amelie's waltz) is a very famous french song !

Just watch it ! It's not only a girl movie, not just a romance ! Boys, you can (and you should) of course watch it, you'll find your own interests/opinions !
